Growth Major Factor in Selection as Finalist for 2008 Technology Award VICTORIA, B.C. (April 18, 2008) – Agresso, the ERP market's definition of agility, announced today that it has been selected as a finalist by the Vancouver Island Advanced Technology Centre (VIATeC) for the 2008 “Technology Company of the Year” award. The Technology Company of the Year award recognizes a Vancouver Island company that has demonstrated excellence in innovation and a commitment to the technology community while embracing sound business fundamentals. Agresso North America recently posted 62% revenue growth in 2007 and in the period between 2005 and 2007 also generated an employee growth rate of 57%, with many of those positions based in Victoria, B.C. The Agresso North America revenue growth rate from 2002 to 2007 is approx 258%. As the locally based subsidiary of a worldwide company, Agresso North America has been expanding its business throughout North America while also growing its employee footprint locally in Victoria. “Agresso is competing with large enterprises applications vendors that have a worldwide presence,” said Shelley Zapp, President of Agresso North America. “The fact that we are competing successfully speaks well to our product set and strategy as well as the technology resources available to us on Vancouver Island.” VIATeC is an organization that emphasizes and promotes technology in Vancouver Island and British Columbia.
